Enlight from Lightricks has been a favorite photo editing app since its launch in March of this year. With powerful adjustment tools such as universal masking, photo merging, and special effects, the app allows you to create simply stunning images on your mobile device. Recently Enlight was updated with follow-along tutorials and other improvements making it even more robust.
Version 1.2 of Enlight, which was released yesterday, Nov. 4, brings a great set of useful tutorials. These handy how-tos will help you with dramatic portraits, double exposure, panoramic twists, sketch and breakout masks, word gradient, and retro posterize.
he tutorials provide easy swipe-through explanations of the topic, but what makes them stand out is that you can practice while you learn. Put your newly learned skills to the test on your image and then just select the scholar icon at the top to go right back where you left off in the tutorial.
While the tutorials may be the highlighted new features in Enlight’s update, there is still more. You can now enjoy improved brush controls for Doodle, Effects, and Masks along with additional brushes for the Effects feature. You can also now edit and export photos with higher resolutions which include up to 19 megapixels for iPhone 5 and higher along with iPad 3 and higher. And, iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 include resolutions up to 49 megapixels.
Enlight is not only powerful when it comes to photo editing, but has an extremely smooth, comprehensive interface. The vast amount of features and tools is sure to have you impressed with the final products you can create. And, since its arrival on iPad just a few months ago along with other added features in such a short time after launching, you can be certain we will see more awesome updates down the road.
Enlight is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It is available for $3.99 on the App Store. To learn more about the app’s features and ease of use, check out our original review from Christine Chan.
