They’ll get to perform a series of operations like putting bones back in place, pulling dancing worms out of wounds, and much more all while building more than 200 verbs.

You’re able to control Sir Benfro and his balloon with various taps. For example, tap and hold to rise up into the air. Tap quickly over and over to slow down Sir Benfro’s rate of travel. You must gather magical fireflies along the way to keep the balloon powered. Try to avoid running into obstacles as well, because they will cause the fireflies to scatter. The game includes four environments, loads of creatures to discover and learn about, and three difficulty settings.

Your child is presented with two consonants that sit at the bottom of the screen with a space in the middle. They get to pick any vowel they wish from the top of the screen to create a word. If the word is valid, an object, person, or animal will appear. If it’s invalid, it will be ejected from the screen. When they’re done generating words, they can use any or all of them to create an animated story.

Tiggly Story Maker: Build Words and Record Your Own Tales is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 30 ratings.

Domino Drop ($1.99 → Free, 36.7 MB): This puzzle game will have you dropping dominoes while calming your soul. It’s for fans of casual logic-based puzzle games.

The first thing you’ll notice about Domino Drop is its charming aesthetic. Everything from the visuals to the music were clearly handled with care. But don’t worry, the gameplay is on par with the rest of Domino Drop as well. The basic idea is align and drop dominoes within a wooden box in order to create matches. The game includes three modes, each with a different twist. Each mode also includes a brief tutorial, so you should be able to get the hang of things pretty quickly.
