There are probably some people out there who know exactly what the care symbols on clothing labels mean. But, there are many who do not and if you are one of them, then this new app is for you. Laundry Day lets you scan the clothing label and then tells you exactly what the symbols mean so that you can be sure to launder your clothes correctly.
How to use Laundry Day
The app provides a couple of options for finding out how your clothes should be laundered. The first and easiest one is by scanning the label. Laundry Day will begin to recognize those symbols pretty quickly and then you just tap to scan. You will then see the symbols captured with details of what they mean and even helpful tips.
The second option, if you happen to have a hard to capture label or just want to familiarize yourself with the symbols, is by selecting All Symbols from the navigation. You can see those categorized easily for bleaching, drying, ironing, washing, and professional care.

Laundry Day includes a Help and About section with some beneficial details. You can read about common materials and check out useful tips. There is even a small instructional piece on using the washing machine which could be very helpful for kids who are just starting to do their own laundry.
