One-handed messaging is simple with Tribe
Pretty much everyone sends text messages nowadays, from kids to grandparents. But, you have to admit that sending a quick message can be difficult no matter who you are when you have your hands full. Whether you are walking in the rain with an umbrella, holding your dog’s leash on a stroll, or carrying a child, texting with one hand is no easy task for most people. So, say hello to Tribe – Magical Messaging, the app that lets you send your messages with one hand using your camera and microphone.
How Tribe works
To send a message with Tribe, you just press down on your recipient, which activates the camera and microphone. When you are finished showing or saying your message, just release your finger and off your message goes to your contact. If your recipient does not have Tribe installed, a message will be texted to them. Take a look at Tribe in action and just click here if you cannot view the video:
Tribe features
Tribe has notifications so that you always know when a message is waiting for you. And, once a message is opened, it is automatically deleted. However, you do have the option to save it to your device before it’s gone. If you enable your location, you can quickly see the distance from your contacts along with the current temperature in their area, which is a cool feature. You can also create a group for messages with friends or coworkers.
Light and easy
Tribe has a very clean and intuitive interface. The main screen displays your contacts neatly in a grid, making it super simple to find who you are looking for at a glance. The small camera displayed on the bottom can be quickly switched between your front and rear facing cameras with a tap. So, you can capture yourself or your surroundings with one hand as well.
Tribe – Magical Messaging is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It is available for free on the App Store with no advertisements to get in the way.
