Video streaming app Vessel boosts interaction with Threads
When we first introduced you to Vessel back in March of this year, we were pretty impressed with the app offering early access to videos. With over 100 channels, categories based on interest, and customization of your experience, Vessel is a gem for video streaming. In a recent update, the app brings new features; one in particular that encourages you to join in the fun is called Threads.
What is Threads?
This cool new feature lets video creators pose questions and challenges to their fans in the app. Users can then respond with their own short videos. The good news is that Threads is available for everyone, so even if you do not have a subscription to Vessel, you can still enjoy this new way to communicate with your favorite video creators.
What else is new with Vessel?
Addition to the neat new Threads feature, Vessel now offers convenient Facebook and Google sign-in options as well as PayPal support for subscriptions. The app has also been updated with nested comments so you can easily follow conversations. And, notifications have been enhanced to alert you when someone has replied to or liked your comments.
Sleek and easy
Vessel has a smooth interface with easy navigation and controls making it simple to browse and watch awesome videos from TV shows like “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to music videos from Maroon 5. You can also check out categories like sports or lifestyle along with specific channels like NBC Entertainment or BuzzFeed. The key with Vessel is its early access, so you are always ahead of the game.
Vessel is designed for iPhone and iPad and is a free download from the App Store. You get your first month of access for free and can then subscribe for just $2.99 per month.
In other news, Apple boosts the song match limit for both iTunes Match and Apple Music and Amazon’s ComiXology now lets you read comics from your Kindle library.
