Battle for respect in Adult Swim's Pocket Mortys, now on iOS
The television franchise “Adult Swim” has released some very popular iOS games, and another has just been added to the stable. Pocket Mortys was released today, Jan. 13, on the App Store, bringing us a Pokemon-style game in the “Rick and Morty” multiverse.
Battle Mortys from other dimensions
The latest craze across the multiverse is Morty training, and pitting different Morty’s against each other in a battle to … not necessarily the death, but the dazed state of semiconsciousness. Your Rick and Morty are trying to get back home after being tricked by Mysterious Rick, and the only way to do that is through battling and earning badges.
Simple battle mechanics
Each Morty has its own unique skills and abilities, and these grow with experience. Your round in a battle is simple, with you choosing whether to attack, defend, use an item, or run away. As you travel around different dimensions, you can take on rival Ricks and other creatures with their own Mortys. Every battle you win helps your Morty get stronger and more capable.
Achievements and badges
The game has its own badge system, allowing you to be rewarded for defeating rival Ricks. On top of that, you also get Game Center integration, letting you earn various achievements.

Pocket Mortys is designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and requires iOS 8 or later. The game is available for free on the App Store without any ads, but it does use in-app purchases to buy in-app currency and coupons.
