Today’s apps gone free: MobileMonet, 1 Second Everyday, Living Planet and more
iPhone:
LaLa Lunchbox gives your child a say in what they get to have for lunch by allowing them to personalize their lunchbox with a fun monster and fill it with a large selection of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and a snack. Anything that’s added to the lunchbox will also be placed in your grocery list, so you can always have the right types of foods on hand. The app includes the ability to save favorite meals, multiple sharing options, and the ability to sync items between multiple devices.
LaLa Lunchbox – Fun lunch planning for parents and kids is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 82 ratings.
1 Second Everyday needs to access your iDevice’s library to discover videos and photos. You can then grab one second from each video to include in your final compilation or just select photos. Once you have one second for each day of the month, year, or a selected period of time, the app will merge it all into one memorable video. You can share your video via Facebook or YouTube. 1 Second Everyday also now includes a crowds section, where you can submit a second of your life to be a part of the group, and a freestyle section, which removes the 1 second per day restriction.
1 Second Everyday is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 1928 ratings.
Universal:
Dozzzer is a sleep timer app that slowly reduces your music’s volume so you aren’t alarmed when it stops. The app allows you to choose individual songs or import entire playlists and reorder them on the fly. Then just slide the needle left or right to set your timer and drift off to sleep. The app will automatically reduce your music’s volume over time even if you’ve closed it. It also includes AirPlay support.
Dozzzer – Music To Drift Off is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 80 ratings.
We love how easy Living Planet makes it to take your photos and videos from boring to extraordinary. You’re able to import content from your library or capture a new photo or video from within the app. Living Planet will then automatically transform your chosen content into a tiny, circular planet. An inverted wormhole options is also available.
Living Planet – Tiny Planet Videos and Photos is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 141 ratings.
MobileMonet turns your photo into a black and white sketch upon importing it, and then allows you to add your own artistic touch. You can paint directly onto the sketch to bring your photo’s color back and highlight specific areas. Your paintbrush can be adjusted in a variety of ways as well. The app includes undo and redo, pan and zoom, and the ability to share your final creation via Facebook, email, Flickr, Twitter, Tumblr, or SMS.
