Under Armour’s Record app continues to push the limits
Earlier this month we saw a nice update to Record by Under Armour bringing 3D Touch support, an enhanced Apple Watch app, and adjustments to the nutrition tracking section. In another update today, Jan. 25, the robust health and fitness tracker now provides helpful syncing with MyFitnessPal and more.
Version 3.0.1
This integration with MyFitnessPal means that you can connect your Under Armour HealthBox using your UA Record account. Launched on Jan. 22, HealthBox is a complete fitness system that captures the health data most important to determining how you feel. You can sync your weight, steps, and workouts from HealthBox back to MyFitnessPal. You can also log your food and calorie details in MyFitnessPal using Record by Under Armour and track your daily intake goals using the apps together.
Wonderful update
The sports clothing company Under Armour acquired MyFitnessPal, along with Endomondo, early in 2015. So, it is no surprise that this integration with HealthBox has been implemented. Both are terrific apps in the health and fitness genre with ease-of-use and extensive options.
Record by Under Armour is available for free on the App Store for your iPhone and Apple Watch. MyFitnessPal is also available on iPad and is free with in-app purchase options for MyFitnessPal Premium at $9.99 monthly or $49.99 yearly for personalized plans, food analysis, and more.
In other news, Apple releases tvOS 9.1.1 with an official Podcasts app for the new Apple TV and Spotify video is coming with Comedy Central, ESPN and more.
