Your budgeting is easier and better with the help of monthly
Quite a few people make brief commitments to manage their money better, budgeting different expenses and promising to save money for unexpected problems or expenditures. Using an app can help with that, but personal finance software, even on a mobile device, is often a hassle to use. With a newly updated title on the App Store, monthly – budget planner w/ 1-swipe expense tracker, those hassles are a thing of the past.
Plan your budget for the month in seconds
Entering your information into monthly is quick and easy, just a matter of a swipe and a few taps for your income and each expense category. Once you’ve created your entries, getting them to show up each month is just a matter of swiping to the left until you see blue.
Entering your expenses
One-time expenses are simple to record. Just swipe all the way to the right, and the expense will be marked as paid. For more intricate, itemized categories like groceries or eating out, you swipe until you see yellow, and then you can record how much you spent. Monthly continues to keep track of how much you have left, so you can quickly and easily see how you’re doing with your budget.
What’s new in monthly?
The latest update makes working with monthly even easier. First, Slide Over and Shared View is supported on the iPad, and 3D Touch Actions allow you to record expenses right from monthly’s icon on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. Finally, using Spotlight Search, you can quickly find income sources and expenses, so you can find out how much you have left to spend without opening the app.
Getting monthly
Monthly is designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and requires iOS 8 or later. You can download it for $1.99 on the App Store. There are no ads or in-app purchases to worry about after you buy monthly. Check out monthly in action in the video below, or click here if it fails to load.
