Bizarre App of the Week: Find the Invisible Cow
Odd apps are not things you normally go out searching for, they just sort of fall into your lap when you least expect it. And, this week’s strange app did exactly that. Do you remember playing a game of Hot and Cold when you were a kid? You would look for an object and another person would tell you if you were hot or cold depending on how close to the object you got? Well, it’s time to play again with this week’s bizarre app, Find the Invisible Cow.

What is it?
Find the Invisible Cow is a modern day rendition of Hot and Cold. You begin with a blank, white screen and as you tap, you will hear a man’s voice say “cow.” You will tap different areas of the screen in search of the cow and the louder the voice gets, the closer you are to finding it. As soon as you find the cow, it will pop up on the screen and give you a nice, subtle “moo.”
What makes it bizarre?
There are a couple of different answers to what makes this app unusual. But overall, it is just plain silly. You just sit there, tapping a white screen while some man keeps saying “cow.” The funniest part is that when you are really close and about to reveal the cow, the voice is full-blown yelling at you. Cow!
Is it worth a look?
Find the Invisible Cow is worth a look if for nothing else than a good laugh. The app will keep track of how many cows you find and let you share your proud moments on Facebook. And, if you get tired of cow-hunting, you can find a fox instead with an in-app purchase.
