Bizarre App of the Week: Hair Plucker
So far, our strange app each week has taken us to different places. We have visited peculiar planets, our comfortable bathrooms, and even gone underwater. This week’s odd app does not take you to a location. But rather, gives you a task. As if you do not do this enough in real life, you can now do it digitally as well. So, without further ado, this week’s bizarre app is a game called Hair Plucker.
Hair Plucker
What is it?
Hair Plucker is exactly what it says, you pluck hairs. Your goal is to do so by not causing any pain to the person you are plucking them from. So, zoom in on the pretty girl, pan until you find a hair, and then zoom in further to begin plucking. You must yank on the hair from the correct direction until the meter meets its mark and then brush it away when you successfully pull it out. Get through each level by plucking the number of hairs shown as your objective.
What makes it bizarre?
Well, a game that has you plucking hairs is a bit weird in concept, no? And, for a little extra strangeness, Hair Plucker has a mini game where you can pluck nose hairs from a dude using tweezers. Ouch! Or, you can try your skills at parting the girl’s hair to locate and remove the nasty grays as another game option. Wow.
Is it worth a look?
With Game Center support you can rise to the top of the leaderboards or join a multiplayer game to see who is the best plucker. There are two difficulty levels for Normal and Super Hard. Hair Plucker is odd, but also challenging. Personally, I like the nose hair plucking game the most. It is a little easier to pluck with tweezers than fingers, as we all know.
