Get smart Twitter filtering with Pickador
Moving through your Twitter feed can often times be a struggle. Finding those tweets that you really want to see compared to those you don’t care about is not an easy task. Pickador is an app that helps give you the tweets you want by creating filters with your swipes.
How to use Pickador
After connecting your Twitter account, those tweets in your feed will be displayed as cards. To start filtering, swipe the card to the right for those you want to see more of and to the left for those you want less of. You can also use the handy buttons at the bottom to accomplish the same thing. Basically, the more you swipe, the smarter Pickador becomes.
What else you can do
Pickador has a great feature for sharing tweets privately with your friends. Just search for your Pickador pals by username and then tap the share button for your buddy to see the tweet. The app also lets you like and retweet posts directly from the cards.
Overall thoughts
Pickador displays tweets in a nice, easy-to-read format with the cards. It will be interesting to find out just how smart it gets over time. And, it would be awesome to see an update for adding more than one Twitter account down the road. Keep in mind that signing up for Pickador gives you a different username than your Twitter account. Once you sign up with your email or Facebook account you just connect the Twitter account you would like to use.
Pickador is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It is available on the App Store for free with no in-app purchases.
