Glance at your reminders with the improved Microsoft Cortana
If you are a friend of Cortana and rely on the app to fill you in on your day, then this update will please you. Updated today, Feb. 4, Microsoft’s Cortana now has a Today View, support for 3D Touch, and more improvements to make the app even better.
What’s new with Cortana?
A handy widget has been added for your Notification Center making it even easier to access your reminders. Check out what’s on your plate, add a new reminder, or ask Cortana for help with this new view.
For those with an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, you can now get quick assistance using 3D Touch. A new monthly reminder feature was also added in this version giving you more flexibility. In addition to these fresh features, Cortana has been enhanced for app refresh and load time along with better voice interactions.
Do you use Cortana?
Introduced to iOS in December of 2015, Cortana has been called Microsoft’s answer to Siri. With location-based reminders, package tracking, information on flights, local weather, and answers to your questions, Cortana syncs your important details across your PC and phone. The new features added make Cortana more useful and should have probably come sooner.
