Keeping up with all of the presidential candidates and their stances on the issues can be a full-time job. In fact, for many, it certainly is one. For those of us who don’t have that much time to spare, choosing the right candidate to fit our beliefs can be a challenge. Voter – Matchmaking for Politics helps you decide which candidate is the best fit based on a series of questions.
Three levels of questions
You can get as shallow or as deep into the issues as you want with Voter. There are three sets of questions, asking you things like whether marijuana should be legalized or if the federal minimum wage should be raised. Your answers to these questions let the app determine which presidential candidate is the closest fit to your political ideas. You can even specify how important a particular issue is to you.
Detailed candidate information
Once you’ve answered some or all of the questions, Voter will show you which candidate you’re most closely aligned with. You can tap on that candidate’s name and get a breakdown of where you most agree with and most disagree with the politician’s stances. There are also quotes from the candidate, along with a small biography to help you get to know them better.
Keep up-to-date on what the candidates are saying
In Voter’s Updates tab, you can read a running stream of Twitter posts from the various candidates and political parties. This provides you with a one-stop shop for keeping up with the latest quotes from your favorite politicians, letting you know what they’re talking about and what’s trending.
