Where did I park and did my meter expire? Check parkOmator
When you are at a theme park, shopping mall, airport, or other location with an enormous parking lot, it can be easy to forget where you parked. In addition to that, many locations like large downtown areas have metered parking. This means you have to remember what time the meter will expire too. A new app can cover you with both of these problems. It is called parkOmator and is conveniently available for iPhone and Apple Watch.
Using parkOmator
This handy new app has three basic pieces to it that can help you out of a jam. First, just park your car and press “I am parked here.” Next, enter the hours and minutes for when you need to return to your vehicle. Last, you will receive an alert when it is time to head back to your car plus directions to get there.
Don’t leave home without it
Having parkOmator available for both iPhone and Apple Watch is awesome because you don’t even have to take your phone out of your bag or pocket. Everything you need to do can be done from your wrist and the notification will pop up there as well. There is also a great Glance for Apple Watch so that you can quickly check how much time you have remaining or when the meter expired if you are running late.
The parkOmator app is available for $1.99 on the App Store and again, is designed for iPhone and Apple Watch. In other news this week, take a look at Facebook expands on its Like button with Reactions or Viber updated with new 3D Touch shortcuts, iPad multitasking and more.
