Chomp by Christoph Niemann is a fun new app for kids that lets them put their face in the scene. They can become a drippy drop of water, rock out with a guitar, or pretend they are a cool robot. There are over 50 hand-drawn scenes to pick from with amusing animations and your kids even record video and their own audio.

Get in on the fun

Chomp is so easy to use because you just pick your scene and your face is popped right into it. You simply swipe to move through other scenes and tap the video button if you want to record. Allow the app to use your microphone to sing a song or record a silly message. Chomp works with both your front and rear facing cameras so you can even capture someone else’s face. Let your kids be the stars

From children’s author and illustrator Christoph Niemann and developer of apps for kids Fox and Sheep, Chomp is a creative, cute, lively app. Your kids will have a great time with it and everything is displayed as pictures, so there is no text to worry about reading. The app is intended for children ages 6 to 8, but can really be enjoyed by most any age.

Chomp by Christoph Niemann is designed for iPhone and iPad and compatible with iPod touch. It is available for $1.99 on the App Store with no ads or in-app purchases.
