After determining your location, it provides you with sun and moon rise and set times, azimuth and elevation, and magnetic declination. You’re also able to see the moon’s current phase and illumination, and the sun’s shadow. Focalware is not only able to calculate the sun and moon position for today, but also any other future date. Rotate your iDevice into landscape orientation to view all of the data in list form instead of graphically.

After choosing a scene, cork board cutouts will begin to appear. Your child must drag and drop the pieces into place to fill each cutout. Once complete, the scene will become animated and they can tap on different items and characters to see what happens. The game includes 11 scenes to enjoy, and a new baby play time mode.
Animal Puzzles for Kids with Skills: The Best Activity Preschool Shape Games for Toddlers, Boys and Girls is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 42 ratings.
Data Widget is so simple yet so effective. Launch the app, set your data cap, set your start and end date, and record any usage you may already have. Then swipe down to bring up Notification Center and add the widget by tapping the “Edit” button found all the way at the bottom. After that, any time you want to check your current data usage in real-time, just swipe down. You can also now check your usage via Apple Watch.

This colorful rhyming storybook will have any child hooked. When a young boy wanders into a small town he has no business being in, the mutants take exception. But after a while he wears down their tough facades and shows them the importance of acceptance and kindness. Your child can follow along with the narrator or they can enjoy the story on their own.
Once Upon a Mutant is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 11 ratings.
Each of the 100 puzzles require you to drag and drop pieces from the lower half of the screen into the top in order to completely fill in the shape. Pieces can not be flipped or rotated, so you’ll have your work cut out for you. The game also includes an unlimited number of hints and undos, creating a rather relaxing environment. Although, if you do utilize a hint you won’t be able to earn a perfect rating.
Montezuma Puzzle 4 Premium is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 486 ratings.
iPad:
With Chemio, so much chemical information is available at your fingertips. Tap on an element to view detailed information including its name, atomic mass, electron configuration, atomic radius, density, molar volume, melting and boiling temperatures, and much more. Specific groups of elements can be highlighted to make discovery easier. The app also includes a solubility table, molar mass calculator, and interactive electron configuration models.
Chemio – A Student’s Chemical Reference is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 172 ratings.

- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
