NOTE’d ($1.99 → Free, 12.5 MB): This digital notebook is not only easy to use, but also easy on the eyes. It’s the ideal app for those who need to categorize notes or thoughts.

Choose any one of the 35 fantastic notebook styles, and then add text notes, audio memos, location data, and images. Notebooks can be renamed, passcode locked, rearranged, and backed up and restored via Dropbox. The app also includes the ability to bookmark notes, view all of the notes from all of your notebooks at once, and share notes via Twitter, SMS, or email.

If you make a perfect cut, an octopus will leap across the screen. Tap it to earn bonus time. You’ll need it too since you only start with 60 seconds. The game includes leaderboards via Game Center as well.

Steps is all about letting go. Just put your fingers to the screen and begin walking through a low-poly paper world. To walk you must tap and drag your fingers, and then watch as the world continues to build up around you. Tilt your iDevice to get a different view of the paper world. If you walk far enough you’ll come across postcards, each of which is a symbol of a period along your journey.

He Likes The Darkness ($1.99 → Free, 46.5 MB): Help Paul survive by gathering all of the brightest stars in He Likes The Darkness. It’s for fans of platform games.

Paul is a big fan of the darkness. You’re able to help him darken his world by collecting all of the bright stars in each level. Of course, without the light of the stars it can become difficult to navigate the various platforms, so try to gather them in the most logical order. Oh, and you’re timed the whole way through. Good luck! The game includes seven worlds and 100 levels.
