Today’s Apps Gone Free: Hiversaires, Blicke, Dream-X and More
Universal:
Hiversaires won’t hold your hand. You’re dropped straight into the dark labyrinth of Hiversaires without any direction or instruction whatsoever. It’s your job to discover clues that will help weave your way through the corridors and out of the darkness. It’s probably best that you actually draw a map out while playing the game in order to keep things straight.
Hiversaires is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 68 ratings.
Gif Me allows you to capture video three different ways: normal, multi-record, and stop motion. You’re also able to import photos or videos from your library. During the editing process you’re able to add and cut out frames, add filters, adjust the lighting, apply text and stickers, change the playback speed, and add a frame.
Gif Me! Camera – Animated Gif & Moving Pictures is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 82 ratings.
Blicke’s casual approach may make it seem easy at first, but it’s nothing of the sort. The goal is to get each colored block into its matching target zone with a swipe. Blocks only stop sliding when they run into a wall or another block. You’ll have to utilize both walls and other blocks in order to achieve your goal. The game includes 84 handmade levels to complete.
Blicke is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 46 ratings.
Just like the original, your job is to keep the faceless invaders from reaching your Tesla tower. This time, however, bigger and more powerful weapons are at your disposal including six auxiliary turrets. The main tower still is the most powerful, allowing you to strike down your opponents by tapping and holding your finger on them to send off an electric charge. By completing various goals and ensuring no invader reaches your tower, you’ll be rewarded with cash. The cash can be spent on upgrades and special attacks. The game includes a total of 80 levels, and a survival mode.
Tesla Wars – II is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 60 ratings.
iPad:
No matter how big or small the idea, Dream-X will help you realize it in visual form. You’re able to choose from two different themes and then get right to your mind mapping. Start off with a single idea and then branch out from there. You’re able to create new branches by selecting the idea you want them to branch off from and then tapping and holding on a spot on the screen. Each branched off idea can be color coded, include photo and message, include a task or subtask, and sport an icon. You’re able to freely rearrange your ideas just by dragging them around the canvas. You’re also able to export your mind maps and share them via email. The app includes tutorial videos and samples to help you get started.
Dream-X is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 51 ratings.
