Selected by Apple as one of the best apps of 2016, White Noise+ provides the perfect way to relax. Drag and drop a couple of sound icons into the smart grid to get things started. Place icons to the left side of the grid to simplify the way they sound and move them right to add more complexity. Vertical movements adjust the prominence of the sound within the mix. You’re also able to save your favorite mixes and load presets at any time. The app includes 80 sounds to choose from, a widget, and Apple Watch support.

Just like the original, your job is to keep the faceless invaders from reaching your Tesla tower. This time, however, bigger and more powerful weapons are at your disposal including six auxiliary turrets. The main tower still is the most powerful, allowing you to strike down your opponents by tapping and holding your finger on them to send off an electric charge. By completing various goals and ensuring no invader reaches your tower, you’ll be rewarded with cash. The cash can be spent on upgrades and special attacks. The game includes a total of 80 levels, and a survival mode.
Tesla Wars – II is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 63 ratings.
The Journey Down is more than a good story, it’s a work of art. It features gorgeous hand painted environments and a colorful cast of characters. You’re able to interact with items on the screen in a variety of ways, and you can tap and drag your finger to reveal hot spots. 1979 Revolution is like being dropped right into a documentary film. You play as Reza, a photojournalist who gets caught up in the uprising against the Iranian king. As the adventure unfolds, you’ll have to make choices that’ll change the outcome of everyone involved, take photos and compare them to archival pictures, and listen to more than 80 real stories straight out of Iran. The settings will draw you in, and the characters will keep you glued to your seat.

The app features fantastic original illustrations from Walter Crane, which are brought to life with touch and tilt interactivity. As you flip through each beautifully rendered page, you will be able to hear soothing lute performances from Jon Sayles and music from Roxana Pavel Goldstein and Elias Goldstein.
