Fonta has a ridiculous amount of text options, allowing you to stand out from the crowd. Before you get to that point, however, you can edit your original photo by cropping, rotating, framing, filtering, and blurring it. Then come up with a message you want to drive home, and place it wherever you like on your photo. You’re able to select from a wide variety of fonts, colors, opacity levels, and even layer your text. There are also loads of frame and artwork options to choose from. Fonta allows you to share your creations via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Fontpress: Write Beautiful PhotoText Over Your Pictures with Image Filters and Fonts ($1.99 → Free, 15.3 MB): Get wordy with your photos with Fontpress. iPhoneographers with something to say.

Fontpress has an impressive collection of fonts. You’re able to choose from over 70 different fonts to craft your personal messages. The text can be positioned anywhere on your photo, and you’re able to resize it, color it, and add a shadow. As if that’s not enough, you’re also able to add one of 15 filters to your photo with a single tap.

Universal:

Tiggly Submarine: Preschool ABC Game ($2.99 → Free, 171.7 MB): Tiggly Submarine will help your child understand simple words and short vowel sounds. Parents with children ages five and under.

Your child is able to explore the sea by tapping and dragging Tiggly and his submarine around. When they come across a character, they can latch on to an anchor point and start creating short words. There’s no wrong way to play. Just explore and create.

A little golf fish swims back and forth across the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold at just the right moment to aim, and release to fire a ball into the playing field above. The ball will bounce off of walls and eventually come to rest. When it does, it will expand until it hits a wall. Then launch another ball at the ball in the playing field to pop it. Keep doing so until you either run out of room or have a ball run into the sea grass below.
