Shape Game & Colors App Preschool Games for Kids ($2.99 → Free, 47.0 MB): Your little one can learn to identify shapes and colors with this memory matching game. Parents with toddlers.

Various amounts of cards will appear on the screen face down. Your child can tap on them to reveal what’s on the flip side. They must then find all of the matching pairs of shapes and colors to complete each game. When tapped on, your child is able to hear the object or color pronounced. The app also includes a Show Me mode where the cards are all face up, making it easier to play.

Louis Versatti is a young heir uninterested in the path chosen for him, so he decides to search for a new life. The only thing standing in his way is a Dark forest full of mystery and supernatural powers. As you make your way through the story, you’ll get to change the outcome through decisions big and small.

Little Kitten – My Favorite Cat ($1.99 → Free, 827.6 MB): Spend the day with a furry pal in Little Kitten. Children ages three through eight.

Little Kitten will become your child’s best friend. They’re able to participate in six mini-games that offer a wide variety of interactions and educational elements. After each mini-game your child will receive cat food snacks, which they can feed to their Little Kitten.

Little Kitten – My Favorite Cat is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 147 ratings.

Memory Quest: Dungeon Adventure ($0.99 → Free, 177.1 MB): Go dungeon crawling by matching tiles in Memory Quest. Gamers of all ages.

Memory Quest: Dungeon Adventure is simple enough for kids to pick up and play while having a layer of complexity for an older audience as well. The idea is to turn over tiles with a tap and match them with their associated objects to unlock treasures, open doors, mine for gems, and defeat enemies. For example, a tile with a sword will match with a cyclops and a tile with a pickaxe will match with gems. Experience points allow you to level up your character, and the gems allow you to purchase helpful items.

Memory Quest: Dungeon Adventure is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 14 ratings.

Drop The Chicken 2 ($0.99 → Free, 374.7 MB): Chuck the Chicken is back and ready to go pool diving again in Drop The Chicken 2. Fans of physics puzzlers who have enjoyed games like Cut the Rope.

Chuck has been captured by an evil monkey ring master. To escape from the circus, you must help Chuck perform pool diving tricks while catching bugs along the way. While Chuck is on his platform, you’re required to move a wide variety of objects to ensure he safely lands in the pool. When you believe you have everything just right, flip the switch and see how he performs. The game includes 100 puzzles, five bonus levels, and in-game helping hands.

Drop The Chicken 2 is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 23 ratings.

Battle Bay ($1.99 → Free, 461.3 MB): Ride the waves to victory in this week’s Apple Editors’ Choice pick, Battle Bay. It’s from Rovio, the same team that brought you Angry Birds. Gamers who enjoy real-time action.

Rovio doesn’t normally step outside of their Angry Birds box, but when they do, you get the all-out zaniness that is Battle Bay. The game has you choosing between five ships, each with their own special ability. All ships are equipped with multiple weapons, however, and you can aim and fire them using onscreen joysticks. You’ll have to contend with a cool down timer between shots, so make sure each one lands. The action takes place in real-time battle arenas, and you’ll be required to utilize your teammates to come out victorious.

Battle Bay is available for free today only (05/10). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 2003 ratings.
