Funnel will then provide you with hourly audio news summaries that can be played in the background. The app is also able to send notifications when new content is available.

It utilizes stereoscopic 3-D audio that’s optimized for headphones, so you can drift off into your own little world. The six natural wind recordings can be mixed with rain, river sounds, birds, and crickets. There’s also a whimsical story embedded within the app, allowing you to follow Windy on her journey to breathtaking locations.

Pomodoro is a tried and true technique that helps you define clear goals and get them done faster by setting aside blocks of time. Access the tag drawer on the right side of the screen with a tap. You’re able to choose from 14 pre-built tags or create your own. Then choose your focus duration — the most common being 25 minutes — and get to work. When time is up, you’ll receive a short break. Repeat the process over and over until your tasks and your day is complete. The app includes a white noise option, 3D Touch support, and stats that can be shared.

Runner’s Log ($2.99 → Free, 6.6 MB): Track and record your running routes with Runner’s Log. Dedicated runners.
Strap on your shoes and start running. Runner’s Log will track your distance, time, and location on the built-in map. When you’re finished running, you’re able to view your total distance, total time, route, and average speed. All of your runs are automatically logged and recorded, and you can filter your results and view them on a graph. Run data can also be synced with iCloud, shared, and backed up. Runner’s Log allows you to craft your own routes by hand as well, and you can use them as your default routes.
