Today’s Apps Gone Free: WonderNote, ADDY, Animal Math Games for Kids and More
iPhone:
WonderNote is simple enough not to get in the way while offering enough personalization options to make you feel comfortable in its environment. You’re able to customize the colors of the interface to match your own personal style, then start recording your thoughts as words, photos, or audio. The app operates perfectly in both landscape and portrait orientations. You’re also able to backup your notes to iCloud and share them via Twitter or email.
WonderNote™-Private Daily Journal/Diary is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 21 ratings.
Universal:
ADDY allows you to create anything from simple memes to professional looking posters. The keys are a simple UI and huge database of items. We’re talking simple shapes, custom text, prewritten and artistically stylized phrases, frames, doodles, props — such as masks and sunglasses — covering a wide range of subjects. There are more than 400 included, and each allows adjustment of color, opacity, size, alignment, position, plus optional drop shadow for a little bit of extra style and realism. Of course, you can then quickly post your creative creation to Instagram, Facebook, save it to the camera roll, or share it via most of your other favorite apps.
ADDY: add text to photos is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 1785 ratings.
If you’re like most of us, you enter a new contact when needed and never think much more about the entry from there. However, on occasion, you may realize, somehow, your address book contains two entries of the same person or lacks a photo so that you can easily recognize who it is. These instances are when Simpler can bring a huge relief. Once authorized to access your current address book, Simpler identifies any redundant people and offers to merge the entries as well as can recognize if an entry is missing a portrait photo, then offers one up from another source, such as Facebook — after asking for access permission, of course. Lastly, you can further protect your data or share it in bulk by allowing Simpler to export or backup the contacts database, either to Simpler’s secure servers, another popular cloud service, or just transferring the data using email.
Simpler Pro – Smart contacts manager is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 4010 ratings.
To help each animal make their way home, your child will need to successfully complete a variety of math activities. Math activities range from adding and subtracting to counting and identifying geometric shapes. The app includes a total of 13 adorable animals to help home, and more than 100 activities. It also includes professional narration and instructions, and loads of positive encouragement.
Animal Math Games for Kids in Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade Learning Numbers, Counting, Addition and Subtraction Premium is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 63 ratings.
