Today’s Apps Gone Free: VisualX, Good Woofy, Newton and More
Universal:
Good Woofy is a handy tool that will no doubt be appreciated by you and your neighbors. You must first record a command that will help quiet down your dog and a command that will praise them when they obey. Then place your iDevice somewhere where your pet can’t reach it yet where it can be heard. Activate the recording feature and head out. Good Woofy will listen for barks and record what it hears. When you return home you’ll be able to view how often your dog barked and playback the recordings. The app also includes the ability to adjust sensitivity, share stats, and share recordings.
Good Woofy is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 75 ratings.
Newton is rather simple yet surprisingly addictive. It includes three game modes, two of which will pit you against the clock. The first competitive mode has you trying to correctly and continuously solve multiplication problems in under two seconds. The second has you trying to correctly solve as many problems as you can in three minutes. Both competitive modes allow you to compete with your friends, and you’ll be notified if your score is beaten. There’s also a practice mode available that’s timer-free.
Newton – Multiplication is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 125 ratings.
VisualX will help take your photos from average to outstanding in mere moments. You’ll find all kinds of cropping tools, filters, stickers, tonal adjustments, blur and sharpening effects, color splash options, fonts, emoticons to utilize, and drawing tools. Just go through the toolbar items one-by-one.
VisualX – Enhance your photos is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 77 ratings.
Word Jam is super simple fun. Each puzzle consists of four scrambled words. You must drag and drop the letters in each scramble to create a valid word. Only when all four words have been unscrambled will you be able to move on to the next puzzle set. That’s all there is to it.
Word Jam – jumble scramble is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 74 ratings.
