Today’s Apps Gone Free: FileCalendar, Spite and Malice and Catchy Words
Universal:
FileCalendar was designed with power users in mind. It syncs with the native iOS calendar to pull in all of your events. You can then create a new event or go to any event and attach files, notes, and contacts. Files can be shared from FileCalendar to other apps as well. FileCalendar allows you to edit documents, edit events, zip and unzip files, and take photos with a built-in camera. It supports more than 20 file types in all.
FileCalendar is available for free today only (05/27). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 50 ratings.
Unleash your inner demon with the fiendishly fun Spite & Malice. Your goal is to be the first person to play all of the cards from your own pile by placing them on the middle piles in numerical order. Don’t worry about the suits of the cards because in Spite & Malice they don’t mean a thing. Just remember that the best way to beat your opponent is to block them from ever playing their cards. The game includes a single player mode, and online real-time and turn-based multiplayer.
Spite & Malice is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 5585 ratings.
Catchy Words provides a fun and immersive word game experience. Hold your iPhone or iPad up and walk around the room collecting floating letters in augmented reality. Bring the letters back to the containers and spell valid words. You’re judged by the speed of your work, so move briskly.
Catchy Words is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 52 ratings.
