Today’s Apps Gone Free: 5coins, Tweety, Open Bar and More
iPhone:
The Sweet Factory is open for business! As a worker on the sweet treat line, you’ll have to move quickly and stay focused in order to keep the factory humming along. Ingredients are piped down through three tubes. You’ll have to tap on the left and right sides of the screen in order to match two ingredients with each other. One wrong move and it’s game over. The game includes 14 types of unlockable treats.
Sweet Factory Prime is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 18 ratings.
Universal:
Open Bar will provide you with instant gratification. The moment you launch the app you’ll begin to appreciate its slick design and animations. The basic idea of the game is to drag and drop bars onto the board in order to create completed lines of the same color. The bars can be rotated with a tap, and merged when crossed over one another. Each puzzle can be completed in three moves or less, and you’re able to use a hint at any time in case you get stuck.
Open Bar! is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 806 ratings.
Unlike similar finance apps, 5coins doesn’t try to do it all. Instead, it focuses on just what you spend on a daily basis. No jumping through multiple screens to perform a single task. Just swipe down on the screen to enter a value and attach a note. The app will keep a running total of everything you’ve spent, and you can view your expense history with an upward swipe. 5coins is able to alert you when you’re spending too much and have a chance of going over-budget.
5coins Expense is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 756 ratings.
Before you do anything, you’ll have to link your Twitter accounts with Tweety. You can then customize the widget in order to fit how you use Twitter. Tweety allows you to adjust which accounts are showing tweets, how often they update, how much information is displayed, and whether or not you want quick actions. Tweety is also able to open tweets in Safari, the Twitter app, Tweetbot, or Twitterrific.
Tweety Pro – Show Twitter Timeline on Lock Screen is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 21 ratings.
