Today’s Apps Gone Free: Metronome+, Roll For It and Pocket Glasses
Universal:
Metronome+ acts as a complete musician’s toolkit. It features some of the most robust metronome tools around with its ability to fine-tune the tempo via a scroll wheel or with a tap and loads of accents, subdivisions, meters, and sound sets to choose from. But it’s more than just your everyday metronome. The app is able to record audio, help you tune your instrument, and adjust pitch all while the metronome is playing. Whichever settings you customize along the way can be saved as presets as well.
Metronome+ is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 455 ratings.
Roll For It! is delightful fun for everyone. Compete against friends on the same device, online, or against AI opponents. The object of the game is to roll your set of dice and try to match them to cards to score points. You’re competing directly against your opponent to get the same cards, so you’ll have to decide how best to allocate your dice after each roll. The game also includes additional sets of dice via in-app purchase.

Pocket Glasses helps put things in focus. It’s able to magnify content up to 16x while also allowing you to freeze the screen, capture a photo, and light it up with a flashlight. Pocket Glasses also includes sight correction and three different text sharpening options.
