Today’s Apps Gone Free: Beep Me, Roll For It, Who Was and More
Universal:
Roll For It! is delightful fun for everyone. Compete against friends on the same device, online, or against AI opponents. The object of the game is to roll your set of dice and try to match them to cards to score points. You’re competing directly against your opponent to get the same cards, so you’ll have to decide how best to allocate your dice after each roll. The game also includes additional sets of dice via in-app purchase.
Roll For It! is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 239 ratings.
Beep Me functions as both a calendar and a reminders app, helping you streamline your day. Creating beeps is as easy as jotting down a short description and setting a time. When your deadline comes around, you’ll receive a nagging beep that can be accepted, extended, or snoozed. The app also includes the ability to import calendar events, multiple themes to choose from, beep sharing, 45 different sounds, Apple Watch support, and much more.
Beep Me – Reminders is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 382 ratings.
Who Was? Adventure has a rather unique mechanic for a trivia game. The heads of famous figures will drop down into the screen. It’s up to you to tap on the person described at the bottom as quickly as possible. Each correct selection will remove the head from the screen, freeing up valuable space. If you guess incorrectly, the head you tapped on will remain and more and more will fill the screen. Power-ups and other objects will also populate the screen. The game includes 85 levels, an arcade mode, and more than 4,500 questions.
Who Was? Adventure is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 50 ratings.
Each level includes a single flame, movable pieces, and very little room to operate in. It’s up to you to slide the pieces every which way in order to create a path from the frozen key to the flame. Levels aren’t timed, but your moves will be counted. The game includes a total of 100 levels.
Slide Tetromino Premium is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 704 ratings.
