Today’s Apps Gone Free: MileBug, Magnetic Detector and Tiny Defense
Universal:
Your enemies are everywhere, but there’s hope as long as you have the Minirobots on your side. You can place units almost anywhere in the side view grid, just as long as you place ground units on the ground and air units in the air. Collect energy crystals to expand your army even further and show those machines who really rules Green Planet. The game includes 40 robot types, five environments, 150 levels, 30 mini-games, and achievements via Game Center.
Tiny Defense is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 12731 ratings.
Metal Detector actually works. It may not be a replacement for a professional tool, but it definitely works. Simply hold your iDevice up to any object that creates a magnetic field and Metal Detector will show its strength. The app includes the ability to adjust sensitivity and a microtesla gauge.
Magnetic Detector PRO is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 380 ratings.
MileBug makes it easy to get the deductions you deserve. Setup is easy. Simply add your businesses, vehicles, and expense categories. A handful of rates are already built into the app, including the IRS tax deduction per mile rate, but you can create your own as well if need be. Once everything is set up, just choose your business and vehicle and be on your way. MileBug’s GPS tracking will capture your trip for you and calculate the totals. Reports can be created for any date range, business, or vehicle and exported as CSV forms.
MileBug – Mileage Tracker Log is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 3890 ratings.
