Today’s Apps Gone Free: Top Contacts, Wacko Words and Calendarium

Wacko Words is what happens when cartoons meet word search. You’re provided with a collection of letters and you must combine them in order to create valid words. Each level has a target number of words to find and any extra words will earn rewards. Just swipe across the letters to combine them. The game includes 700 levels in English and 300 levels in Spanish, and a handful of mini-games.
Wacko Words – Toon Adventure is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 111 ratings.
Top Contacts allows you to work faster and more efficiently. It’s able to tap into Apple’s native Contacts app to import information while allowing you to create new content as well. Contacts can be organized in a variety of ways including tags, colors, and groups, and they can be sorted by any included field. The structure of each contact card can be modified and include custom fields. Top Contacts even allows you to assign tasks to contacts and view them in list form or in a calendar view. Contact information can be synced across multiple devices and exported.
Top Contacts – Contact Manager is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 22 ratings.
Calendarium helps you live in the present and the past. The top portion of the screen displays today’s date, the week of the year, sunrise and sunset times, and the number of days that have passed and are left in the year. The bottom portion includes all of the historical events and major holidays that occurred on this very day. Tap and hold on an event or holiday to share it via Twitter, Facebook, Messages, or email.
Calendarium – About this Day is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 1046 ratings.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
