Sophie the sweater is feeling abandoned as she waits on her hanger in the clothing store. Thankfully one day a person in need of a sweater comes along and Sophie’s big adventure begins. The story has an underlying eco-educational theme of "consumption and reuse." Your child is able to follow along with the narrator or read all on their own. They also get to decide which of the 24 engaging story lines to follow. The app includes over 100 handmade illustrations as well.

First and foremost, Strange Rain is meant to be a diversion. Just sit back, relax, and listen to the rain come down. You can adjust the intensity of the rain with pinch and pull gestures, and you can have it follow your finger just by dragging it across the screen. You can also tilt your iDevice to change the perspective. But there is a bit more to Strange Rain than that. It features three additional modes, which allow you to watch rain related words fall onto the screen, view Twitter feeds, and play through a unique story. There's no right way to experience Strange Rain, so have at it! The app also includes music that responds to touch, a sleep timer, two raindrop types, and achievements via Game Center.

Tap the open field at the top to add an item. You’re able to attach a quantity to your item along with more detailed information like whether it’s a pack, a pound, or a gallon. You’re able to take your Ka-50 helicopter on combat missions that take place above both land and sea. Your helicopter is equipped with the advanced weaponry like machine guns, missiles, and rockets, which can be unleashed on your foes with a tap. Not in the mood for combat? No problem. Black Shark HD also features a free flight mode. The game includes a total of 14 missions, two environments, and multiple camera views.

You're able to import any photo from your library or snap a new one in-app. Tap on one of the nine filter options spread across the top of the screen to apply it. Then add a custom caption and choose one of the six font options. You're also able to add a vignette effect or border to your creation before saving it to your library.
