This puzzle game will test your 3-D spatial perception. You must guide levitating blocks through a portal in order to recreate iconic earth structures. You have to be a glutton for punishment to enjoy this puzzle game.

FREE ($1.99) For a limited time FREE ($1.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

You’ve never seen a puzzle game like this before. The object of the game is to swipe up and down in order to position the levitating blocks into the correct slot in the portal. The correct slot is determined by how the block appears; it must match the signature in the bottom right corner of the screen. You will know if you’ve chosen the right slot if the portal turns red. As you progress through the game, things will become more and more difficult as the blocks speed up. We highly recommend going through the tutorial so you can get a better idea of what the game is about.

If you enjoy 3-D puzzles, you’re sure to love tinte surreal. It will take you a little while to really understand the game, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing.

If you’re not fond of tutorials, avoid this one. Without going through all of the tutorials you’ll be left with nothing but frustration.

Battle big, goofy monsters by forming words in this unique word game. Fans of word games will enjoy this twist on the genre.

FREE ($1.99) For a limited time FREE ($1.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Words With Monsters utilizes the same tried and true word game formula found in Scrabble, but adds role-playing game elements to provide a wholly unique experience. When you create valid words from your letters and submit them, instead of adding to your total score, those points are actually used as hit points that are applied to your enemy’s health. You must try to create the best possible words and place them on letter multipliers to remove your opponent’s health before they do the same to you.

If you’re tired of Scrabble and Words with Friends, Words with Monsters will renew your love for the genre and keep you coming back for more. The loot drops after each match allow you to upgrade your letters and buy new hats. Yes, new hats! Don’t stop until you get them all.

No matter how much unique content Words with Monsters offers, it’s still a word game at its core. If you’re not a fan of the genre, this one probably won’t change your mind.

Get your finances in order and keep them that way with Easy Spending Expense Tracker. This finance app is great for anyone looking for an easy and effective way to see where their money is going.

FREE ($2.99) For a limited time FREE ($2.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Most finance apps are all cluttered up with unnecessary options and data, but not Easy Spending Expense Tracker. The app’s home screen only displays your current account balance and two buttons: Add Income and Add Expense. When adding income or an expense, you simply have to define an amount and choose a category. The amount will automatically be added to or subtracted from your total. You’re able to look back through your transaction history, and create reports from all of the data.

If you’re looking for a more convenient way to track your expenses, look no further than Easy Spending Expense Tracker. Its home screen is clutter-free, allowing you to focus on what matters most. You can, however, dig into the menu system to set up multiple accounts, reminders, and passcode lock your data.

If you’re worried about losing your expense data, avoid this one. The option to sync your data via Dropbox is an additional $0.99 in-app purchase.

Trixibrix combines brick-breaking and side-scrolling gameplay into one fun package. It’s the perfect game to scratch that brick-breaking itch.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Trixibrix is about as straightforward of a brick-breaking game as you’ll find, which is why we love it. The entire bottom half of the screen is devoted to your finger. Slide back and forth across the region to control you paddle. The moment your finger touches the screen the ball will be launched, so be ready! All of the bricks you need to break scroll across the screen continuously, requiring you to break until you can’t break anymore. Power-ups will also randomly appear, giving you a chance to earn multiple balls and lives back.

If you like to compete with your friends for high scores on Game Center, Trixibrix is the perfect game to add to your collection. You and your friends won’t get bored with it since the single side-scrolling level is endless brick-breaking fun.

This is a brick-breaking game through and through, so if that’s not your thing, this game won’t change that.

Take the emotion out of investing by having Stock Grader analyze your choices. This finance app is ideal for any investor looking for a little extra help.

$4.99 $4.99
Why we picked this?

Stock Grader couldn’t possibly be any easier to use. All you have to do is enter the name or symbol of the company you’re considering investing in, and Stock Grader will analyze all of the data and provide a letter grade. An overall letter grade will help you determine how safe and intelligent your pick is, and you can dig deeper to look at letter grades for profitability, efficiency, liabilities, and valuation.

If you always find yourself having trouble selecting companies to invest in, Stock Grader is a really good starting point. It’s not going to make you rich, but at least it will help you make better, informed decisions.

Stock Grader is a great starting point, but it’s not the end-all investment tool. It has limited data and you have to trust that its computer algorithms will steer your right. Not only that, new companies won’t have enough data for Stock Grader to analyze, so it won’t be able to help you determine whether or not to invest in them.

Dailybook Journal Diary

Pixolini, Inc.

Record and organize all of the memorable moments in your life with this lifestyle app. Dailybook is great for anyone looking to finally start a journal.

$1.99 $1.99
Why we picked this?

We really like Dailybook because it’s just so elegant. When creating a new entry, you’re able to title and tag it, and attach audio recordings or photos. Entries can also be bookmarked for quick discovery. All of your entries are automatically sorted by date, but you can search for specific ones by keywords or tags. You can personalize Dailybook using the wide variety of text formatting options, and password protect your entire journal to keep those special moments away from prying eyes.

If you’ve always wanted to start a journal but never could stick to it, Dailybook will help solve that problem. It takes care of the tedious information automatically like date and time stamps, weather, and location, so all you have to do is record your thoughts.

If you’re the type of person that always forgets to add entries to your journal, you’re going to have to look elsewhere. Dailybook has a lot of features that allow you to personalize your journal, but it lacks any form of reminders. It’s kind of a deal breaker if you’re the forgetful type.
