WEB To PDF

Darsoft Inc.

Convert any webpage into a PDF with this convenient utility app. It’s perfect for anyone that needs to capture and annotate content from the web.

Why we picked this?

Web To PDF couldn’t be easier to use. Just point the built-in browser at any page and tap the add PDF button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Web To PDF will need a brief moment to convert the page and automatically place it into the files folder. You can then make changes to the PDF by adding text notes, highlighting text, or drawing over the top of it. PDFs can be shared via email, Dropbox, or iTunes File Sharing.

If you deal with a lot of web content, Web To PDF will definitely come in handy at some point. You’re able to store as many files as you want and come back to them as necessary.

Web To PDF offers three editing tools, but for some reason lacks the option to crop captured files down. If you don’t want to be dealing with entire pages all of the time, you may want to look elsewhere for a PDF converter.

Colourfill

Nicolas Pietrowski

A fresh take on a classic puzzle game. You must fill in the game board with different colors while avoiding or eliminating your enemies. The game is ideal for anyone fond of retro puzzle games.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

We’re really enjoying Colourfill because it’s one of those games that’s simple on the surface yet difficult to master. The goal is to fill in 80 percent of the game board with vibrant colors. Just swipe across the screen to start your line and it will fill in the smallest portion once it reaches both sides. However, your line can not be hit by an enemy before it reaches both sides. You can try to eliminate enemies by filling in the side they are on, but the color of the fill must match the color of the enemy. Otherwise you’ll lose a life. The game is filled with 40 puzzles, five enemy types, and five power-ups to unleash.

If you like your puzzle games vibrant and challenging, Colourfill is sure to please. Its retro-inspired visuals will keep your eyes glued to the screen, and its upbeat soundtrack will help you stay motivated.

If you want a more meaty mobile gaming experience, Colourfill isn’t for you. It’s a casual puzzle game at its core, so it should only be played in short sittings.

Sometimes the simplest apps can be the best. Magnifier Flash proves that point. It allows you to zoom in on your subject at up to 6x magnification, and you can light it up with your iDevice’s LED flash. You can even snap a photo of what you’re looking at while zoomed in to save it for later.

If you always find yourself squinting at small text while on the move, give Magnifier Flash a try. Its 6x digital zoom allows you to see even the smallest of text.

Magnifier Flash is a one-trick pony. If you don’t need up to 6x digital zoom, this app has no purpose to exist on your iDevice.

If Lenka had a motto it would be: “Do one thing and do it well.” Before shooting, you can switch between regular and square formats with a pinch. Then capture your subject in regular black and white or in high contrast. That’s it! There aren’t any other options, but the results are outstanding. You’ll just have to see for yourself.

If you’ve always been disappointed with your black and white photos, give Lenka a try. Its powerful image processing system allows you to see exactly how your photo will turn out, and it’s sure to turn out great.

If you don’t intended to take all that many black and white photos, Lenka may be overkill. It’s a dedicate black and white camera, after all.

Survive a chemical wasteland in This Is Not A Test. The game mixes together RPG and choose-your-own-adventure elements to create one unique experience. The game is perfect for anyone that enjoys quality writing and comic book-style art.

$1.99 $1.99
Why we picked this?

We just love the way This Is Not A Test mixes together genres. The story progresses based on the decisions you make. But it’s not just about making decisions within the story, as you’ll also be tasked with deciding on the right skills for the job. You must also stash gear that you deem important for later on, and try to convince other characters to join your adventure. Above all, you must try to survive the end of the world by any means possible.

If you like in-depth games with good storytelling, This Is Not A Test is for you. Its choose-your-own-adventure-style system will hook you, and it’s unique approach to character development will keep you coming back for more. There’s a lot of fun to be had here, so take the time and enjoy it.

If you like your games short and sweet, this isn’t the one for you. This Is Not A Test asks you to delve deep into a post-apocalyptic world, and if you don’t have the time for it, the experience will be lacking.
