ThirtyFive Inc.

Add stylish text to your favorite photos with Fonta.

The app is ideal for anyone that wants to tell a story with their photos.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Fonta has a ridiculous amount of text options, allowing you to stand out from the crowd. Before you get to that point, however, you can edit your original photo by cropping, rotating, framing, filtering, and blurring it. Then come up with a message you want to drive home, and place it wherever you like on your photo. You’re able to select from a wide variety of fonts, colors, opacity levels, and even layer your text. There are also loads of frame and artwork options to choose from. Fonta allows you to share your creations via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

If you really want to make your photos personal and unique, Fonta will help you accomplish that. It’s like a little design studio that you can bring wherever you go.

To come up with truly great results, you’re going to have to fiddle around for a while and dig through all of the options. If that sounds horribly unappealing to you, avoid Fonta.

Ivan Brazhnikov

Quickly turn entire web pages into PDFs with this handy utility app.

It’s ideal for iOS 8 users who need to capture content from the web.

Why we picked this?

Sometimes the best apps are the simplest, and that’s just the case with Printability. Once installed on your iDevice, launch Mobile Safari and tap on the share button. Then scroll right until you see the “More” button and tap on it. Activate Printability’s extension and you’re ready to go. The next time you need to capture a page, simply tap on the Printability icon within the share menu. Printability will grab the page and allow you to adjust its size and layout before saving it as a PDF.

If you often deal with pages that you need to capture, this is the app for you. It makes Mobile Safari wholly more useful.

Sadly, iOS 8 users are the only ones who will be able to enjoy Printability due to support for extensions.

Mohammad Khoman

Jot down notes right from within Notification Center with Neato.

It’s ideal for anyone who needs to take quick and short notes.

$2.99 $2.99
Why we picked this?

As its name alludes, this is one neat note taking app. Launch the app to link your Evernote and Dropbox accounts. Then pull down Notification Center and scroll all of the way down to the bottom of the Today tab. Tap the Edit button to add Neato to Notification Center. You’ll then be able to take notes from within Notification Center and send them off to your favorite services.

If you want an extremely convenient way to jot down notes, this is it. It’s so convenient you’re going to wonder how you ever lived without it.

If you want to save your notes to anything besides Dropbox or Evernote, you’re out of luck with Neato. It’s really too bad the notes taken in Notification Center can’t be saved to the Neato app itself for local storage purposes.

Why we picked this?

Mina and her best friend Malik are back to take on Lord Strix and his ruthless army. You must look for clues that will help you locate his lair by combing through 63 fantasy scenes. Along the way you’ll come across different creatures that if helped will in turn help you. The game includes three modes, 27 mini-games, and five chapters to enjoy.

If you’re a fan of searching for objects, this is another great addition to your collection. Make sure to check out the original game in the series as well.

If you’re more of a fan of seek and find games, where all you do is search for objects and nothing more, you’ll probably want to skip this one. The story is a big part of it.

The entire time they will be learning and won't even know it. Your child will be guided along every step of the way, so just hand your iPad off and allow them to enjoy the experience.

With five different types of games, your child will have endless fun even while learning.

If your child is older than five, the content really isn’t suitable for them. It’ll be far too basic.
