Juggle It

Juggle It

Cubegrinder Studios

Juggle a wide variety of goodies for as long as possible in this arcade game.

Juggle It is for those who enjoy competing via Game Center leaderboards.

Why we picked this?

As the items enter the screen, tap and flick them upwards to keep them from touching the ground. Some items will move quicker than others, so stay alert. No matter what you do, you must avoid the bombs. The game includes two modes, power-ups, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

If simple flick-based games are your thing, Juggle It is your game. It has a bunch of crazy unlockables to work towards.

The gameplay is a bit simplistic, so it can get old after long play sessions.

Save the Cubes

Save the Cubes

Cubegrinder Studios

Save the Cubes by exterminating the infected zombies in this puzzle game. It’s as simple as dragging and dropping brain cubes into place to lure the zombies to their death with the scent of brains.

The game is perfect for those with analytical minds that also want to save their brains.

Why we picked this?

We’ve always enjoyed Save the Cubes’ fresh take on the Lemmings-style genre, but now with it’s 2.0 update, it’s even better because the green cubes are zombies. Not only zombies, but zombies that wear Santa hats! The game is loaded with 48 challenging levels spread across four different zones, and you’ll come across new items that will assist you in your zombie slaying as you progress, keeping things nice and fresh.

You’re going to enjoy this game if you’re either a fan of puzzle games and Minecraft. The puzzles are easy enough to solve at first, and then ramp up in difficulty pretty quickly. The art style is very reminiscent of Minecraft as well, which is never, ever a bad thing.

Save the Cubes is a relatively slow-paced 3-D puzzle game, so if you lack patience, it’s definitely not for you. Additionally, it doesn’t offer much of a social factor since it lacks Game Center leaderboards.

Your objective is to find and trace as many words as possible before time expires on the randomly generated four-by-four board. You can see how many possible words there are at the bottom of the screen. Only adjacent letters can be traced, and only valid words will be counted. At the end of each game you're able to view your score, the words you created, and all of the words you failed to find. The game also includes an unlimited time mode in case you want to try to find every last word.

If you want to learn some new words while having fun doing it, Wordly is for you.

Wordly doesn’t include any different board sizes. Four-by-four is all you get.

The silhouette acts as your base shape. Then come up with a collection of words and choose from a variety of customization options like the color, detail, and orientation of the text. Give Phoetic some time to put it all together and watch what it comes up with. Your final designs can be saved, shared, or even printed.

If you’re looking for a great gift idea, look no further. Your designs can be printed off and shipped to friends and family in seconds.

The final renderings can take a very long time, especially if you increase the detail and have an older iDevice.
