Bitpoem - Photo Filters and Effects

Bitpoem

Create one-of-a-kind photos with Bitpoem.

It’s for photographers, iPhoneographers, and digital artists.

FREE ($1.99) For a limited time FREE ($1.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Bitpoem allows you to be selective. Instead of just applying filter upon filter, you’re able to emphasize critical parts of your photo with their own filters and effects. All you need to do is draw over your photo to block off sections or select them. You’re able to layer as much as you wish, even if you’ve already processed your original creation. The app is absolutely loaded with filters, artistic effects, blending effects, textures, and colors.

If you’re tired of the same old thing from your photography apps, check out Bitpoem. No two photos will end up looking the same.

The app is limited to effects and filters. It’s not an all-in-one suite.

Amigo Pancho

Yury Koshechkin

Help Pancho float to the highest places in the world in this physics-based puzzle game.

Amigo Pancho is for gamers that enjoy interactive physics and mastering new concepts.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Amigo Pancho has you interacting with the various colorful environments in a wide variety of ways, which is why we can’t recommend it enough. There’s something new around every corner. The basic idea of the game is to help Pancho ride his two very small and fragile balloons to the highest places in the world. Along the way you’ll have to clear debris, redirect cactus spines, and even block fireballs to ensure his balloons don’t pop. The game includes a total of six locations and 120 levels, so you better be ready for a challenge.

If you enjoy games like Cut the Rope and Cover Orange, this is a perfect addition to your collection.

Amigo Pancho is the classic pick-up-and-play game, so if you’re looking for something more in-depth, look elsewhere.

Sidefari

Francisco Cantu

Have two websites open simultaneously with Sidefari.

It’s a great tool for anyone with an iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, or iPad Pro.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Sidefari is a neat idea executed perfectly. It allows you to show an extra Safari-based browser on the side of your iPad’s screen via an extension. Simply tap the share button within Safari, and choose the “Send to Sidefari” extension. The current URL in Safari will then be usable in a separate window, which you can resize just as you would any multitasking app in iOS 9. Sidefari also allows those with older iPads and iPhones to utilize a modal window as a secondary browser. It’s not as useful as the multitasking option available for new iPads, but it’s at least something.

If you want to be a more efficient web browser, this will help you get it done. Since Sidefari is Safari-based, you’ll still have the full benefits of Safari including content blockers.

If you’re not running iOS 9, this app is completely useless to you.

Guitar Elite Pro - play songs and chords on premier steel acoustic, vintage rock electric, and nylon strings classical virtual guitars

Keynote Star Inc

Play a variety of guitars no matter where you are with Guitar Elite.

It’s ideal for both beginner and expert guitar players.

$0.99 $0.99
Why we picked this?

This is as close as you’ll come to playing a real guitar without actually owning one. Guitar Elite offers eight different guitars to choose from. You’re able to play chord buttons or put your fingers to the screen and have Guitar Elite find matching chords based on their positions. Once you get the hang of things, go ahead and record your creations and share them via email or SoundCloud. The app also includes a built-in metronome.

If you’ve been looking for an app that looks and sounds like a real guitar, you’ve found it.

The ideal device to play on is an iPhone 6 due to its perfect screen size. Previous generation iPhones are a tad small, and the iPad is a bit unwieldy.

Yum-Yum Letters: Learn & Trace

Kindermatica Ltd.

Your little one can learn to write all of the letters of the alphabet with Yum Yum Letters.

It’s ideal for parents and teachers with children ages five and under.

$3.99 $3.99
Why we picked this?

Yum Yum Letters allows your child to learn from a porky caterpillar, smiling snowflake, and fluffy spider. They must trace the letter provided to them, and then repeat the action multiple times with even less assistance. After each successful completion, they’ll be rewarded in a unique way related to the character they chose. The app includes the ability to create multiple profiles, two teaching methods, and multiple fonts to choose from.

If you want to give your child a head start on their education, this is a fun way to do it. The app is COPPA compliant.

Yum Yum Letters provides an errorless experience. Your child can’t accidentally trace backwards, and they won’t be graded. This means it’s not ideal for older children who need more of a challenge.
