Memory Quest: Dungeon Adventure

Jonathan Levis

Go dungeon crawling by matching tiles in Memory Quest.

It’s for gamers of all ages.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Memory Quest: Dungeon Adventure is simple enough for kids to pick up and play while having a layer of complexity for an older audience as well. The idea is to turn over tiles with a tap and match them with their associated objects to unlock treasures, open doors, mine for gems, and defeat enemies. For example, a tile with a sword will match with a cyclops and a tile with a pickaxe will match with gems. Experience points allow you to level up your character, and the gems allow you to purchase helpful items.

If you want to improve your memory while having some fun, this memory matching game will get it done.

True dungeon crawler fans may find the gameplay a little shallow.

Tesla Wars - II

Pavel Tarabrin

The followup to the smash hit tower defense game, Tesla Wars.

It’s for those who enjoyed the original but want more firepower.

FREE ($0.99) For a limited time FREE ($0.99) For a limited time
Why we picked this?

Just like the original, your job is to keep the faceless invaders from reaching your Tesla tower. This time, however, bigger and more powerful weapons are at your disposal including six auxiliary turrets. The main tower still is the most powerful, allowing you to strike down your opponents by tapping and holding your finger on them to send off an electric charge. By completing various goals and ensuring no invader reaches your tower, you’ll be rewarded with cash. The cash can be spent on upgrades and special attacks. The game includes a total of 80 levels, and a survival mode.

If you enjoy tower defense games, you have to give Tesla Wars II a try. It’s quite challenging since the invaders can come at you from all angles.

If you didn’t enjoy the original, Tesla Wars II will do nothing to change that. It follows the same formula.

Why we picked this?

Animal Game Show will build up your child's confidence while entertaining them. Your child gets to see a set of toes sticking out from underneath the curtain, and they must decide what animal or person they belong to. They’re provided with three possible answers, and when they select the correct one the curtain will be drawn.

If you’re always looking for ways to teach your child new skills, this is a great way to do it! Animal Game Show is educational and fun thanks to its matching elements. Plus, the characters are pretty charming, which should help keep your child engaged for a good while.

The game isn’t intended for everyone. Some children will tire of the mechanic rather quickly. If variation is necessary for your child to stay entertained, you’re going to have to look elsewhere.

Tesla Audio Sciences

Take your child on a sonic journey with this music app.

It will lull them to sleep.

$0.99 $0.99
Why we picked this?

It's able to put your young child in a relaxing state of mind by playing binaural and isochronic tones. The app includes 15 ambient tracks, 13 sound samples, six entrainment programs, the ability to create your own custom programs, repeating alarms, a countdown timer, and a full set of instructions.

If other relaxation apps haven’t been able to put your child to sleep, give AmbiScience a try. Some children simply don’t respond to the usual binaural tones, which is why AmbiScience includes isochronics as well.

The app’s interface is quite outdated.
