BEST
APPS
of the
WEEK
January 31, 2020
Our best new app of the week makes great use of two iPhone cameras simultaneously. See what else made the list.
DoubleTake
Double Vision
The app allows you to capture video from two cameras simultaneously. To begin, the camera picker view shows all of the available cameras so you can select which view to include in the shot. Along with using a front and rear-facing camera at the same time, you can also select a combination of rear lenses.
Huddles
A New Kind of Vine
Anyone who used the Vine app should be right at home with Byte. You can video six-second, vertical videos and even create your own. On the search tab, there is a wide variety of different categories to select from. It’s also easy to create a profile page and customize it with a photo and more.
Aurora
A Full-Featured Color Picker
Aurora is a great way to find more information than you can imagine about a specific color. When you find an interesting color, use the camera picker to drag a picker and capture the specific color. You can also find a color from a static image.
