The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Marine Pilot Reporting App is primarily an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety.
The App assists Australian marine pilots to easily notify AMSA where non-compliance with pilot transfer requirements is suspected.
Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot ladders and pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to AMSA.
Various useful references and information resources regarding pilot transfer requirements are also contained in the App.
The App can also be used to report suspected instances of non-compliance with the Navigation Act or safety/pollution regulations via AMSA's website.
Acceptance of a 'User Agreement' is required to use the App. For further information, or to report technical issues with the App, please contact AMSA via email to coastal.pilotage@amsa.gov.au.
