What is it about?

Block-Based Arduino Programming from an iPad! Now students with iPads can design, invent, and build devices for the Internet of Things (IoT). Build cars, alarms, robotic devices, illuminated artwork and kinetic sculptures! Through authentic design activities, students master fundamentals of coding -- loops, variables, conditionals, functions. Using the Bean+ from Punchthrough Design, students can work with real-world electronics to imagine something into existence. If your students want an authentic experience of building using real-world electronics, sensors, and microcontrollers, but they struggle with the complexity of the Arduino programming language or if they only have access to iPads, this app is for them. Even very young or novice students can begin programming in Arduino right away!
