Digital Debit® allows you to start accepting PayPal for in-person payments from over 250 million users who trust PayPal as their preferred way to pay online. Digital Debit® is ready to go at install without the need to purchase and wait for the mailing of card swipers or additional terminal hardware.
Start using a retail grade real-world QR terminal counterpart to the PayPal payment ecosystem integrated with millions of online merchants.
Family and friends can also pay and get paid with Digital Debit® using a PayPal linked bank account, credit, and debit without sharing e-mails and mobile numbers.
Sometimes you want to accept and make PayPal payments without giving out your personal information, Digital Debit® is your solution.
We recommend installing the Digital Debit® app along with PayPal's Mobile App and Venmo to make remote personal grade payments using e-mail and mobile numbers. Digital Debit® is designed primarily for in-person transactions.
Payments completed in Digital Debit® will also send a notification to PayPal's Mobile App for further access and management (under Invoices).
Now, you can offer PayPal as an instant QR payment option, for example: mobile sellers, charity, trade shows, farmers market, merchandise stands etc.
Getting started is easy, just ask your payer or payee to install Digital Debit® and sign in with their existing verified PayPal personal or business account.
Enter an amount and scan a QR to pay or accept a QR scan to get paid. Add a note or a #hashtag (for sellers offering automated fulfillment items).
Both the sender and receiver devices will receive a Visual Confirmation (a synced number and 1 of 4 colors for fast paced transaction environments + PDF417 barcode). The Visual Confirmation notification let you and the payer know the transaction is complete and verified as in "Paid" status at PayPal.com.
All transactions are made direct between the PayPal sender and receiver accounts and can be found in the Invoice Management section of your PayPal.com account.
