DÖRRENBERG MATERIAL ADVICE APP is an interactive application for selecting materials
in the industrial sector. 
Technicians and design engineers in the toolmaking, die making, machine building or fixture construction industry represent the target audience for this application.

In addition, this application may serve as a source of information for teachers and students when elaborating 
a practice- oriented comprehension relative to the topic of steel in the industrial usage. 

The application offers: 

An overview of all common materials used in industry.
A graphic comparison mode for checking different materials against each other regarding their properties
Technical details (data sheets) of all materials, incl.chemical composition, physical properties and tempering diagram
A graphic search function with multi-dimensional adjustment option of research criteria as related to toughness, compressive strength and abrasion
Different languages (german, english, chinese).
A weight calculator 

All main functions are available off-line, as the application is installed including database.
