App Store Description

MedPoint allows any PACS on the market to inherently send Radiology studies securely to an iOS device. Your existing PACS can view each device as a local DICOM destination. Your physicians will love this new built-in viewer. They will simply receive a push notification when a study has been received. This is a significant time-saver for on-call physicians.

It is more secure than downloading DICOM images to a local computer. With MedPoint, you can auto-anonymize the traffic as it leaves your server. The transfer and storage of all files are encrypted. The self-destruct feature ensures even the anonymized and encrypted files are destroyed without your physicians having to remember to delete them.

Perhaps the most exciting new feature is the Telehealth communications integrations. Please visit our support URL for short videos demonstrating this new technology. Essentially, it allows providers to securely chat, communicate via 2-way audio and 2-way video. Now, you can even screenshare what you see on a particular study. The physicians can now show areas of interest by tapping the area on the iPhone screen. The other physician can then see the images and what is being pressed remotely.

If a message needs to be delivered quickly, the Critical Findings mode will ensure it is received. With the touch of a button, the recipient can ask follow-up questions to the specialist who sent the critical finding. And, if the message is not acknowledged, MedPoint will facilitate you in taking the steps necessary to complete the critical communication.

The administrative preferences are all browser based and the rules are incredibly powerful, yet simple. Unlimited DICOM rules automation and editing are supported.

You can query your PACS through a web browser and push studies to your device if automated rules don't suffice. You can query/retrieve straight from your mobile devices, or even through a Restful API, you can add your own buttons to your EMR, Website, RIS or PACS.

Please visit our website to contact us for more information: http://newradiologytechnology.com/contact-us/index.php or call 888-885-9134.

This is perfect for any on-call physician. No longer will they need to connect to a VPN, login to a system and search for a patient to view the studies. Now, the studies can be pushed or pulled - even if the phone never leaves your pocket. Alerts will tell you when the process has started and completed in the background.

MedPoint will add the features your current PACS is missing.
