MyDevices

MyDevices provides a simple interface that allows you to interact with devices on your home network. The integrated viewer allows you to quickly view device web pages without having to exit the application. View live video from your webcam, configure your wireless router settings, view how much ink is left in your printer, view local device details... the possibilities are endless!

Features:
-Utilizes UPnP and Bonjour to find devices on your home network
-Displays detailed device information (IP address, model, vendor, type, etc.)
-Includes integrated viewer so you can quickly access device web pages within the application
-Uses default device icons in cases where the device doesn’t provide a custom icon
-View UPnP device description documents as formatted XML

Settings:
-Device filters allow you to easily hide basic devices, unknown devices, devices without a web page, or Bonjour devices
-Customize the search time from 1 to 60 seconds depending on your home network congestion
-Specify a default username and password which will be tried automatically for devices requiring basic authentication
-Enable debugger to troubleshoot issues you may have when viewing device web pages within the integrated viewer
-Use Safari instead of the integrated viewer based on your personal preference

Notes:
-Devices MUST support UPnP or Bonjour to be discovered. Enabling UPnP on the router will only make the router discoverable.
-Device web pages are loaded directly from the devices over the WiFi network connection. Load speeds will vary based on the performance of the device web server and network congestion.
-SSDP uses UDP to perform search announcements over the WiFi network connection. Increasing the search time under settings improves search reliability by periodically sending additional search announcements.
