Nisseportaler

Nisseportaler ("Elf Portals") is a fun, engaging, immersive entertainment experience. Using the app to navigate and follow along with the story, children and their families explore their local environment, finding elf windows attached to buildings, and exercising their bodies and imagination.

The experience combines existing well-tested forms of entertainment. It involves orienteering, an adventure, a treasure hunt, a crime-solving mystery, and some word play, all wrapped in a fantasy storytelling journey to entertain the entire family. The target audience is younger children and those looking for a little spark of magic in their life.

The series of elf windows are strategically hidden throughout the city, and using the accompanying app, the locations are revealed and the adventurer is led on a magical storytelling adventure. At each location is placed a QR code to scan, which unlocks a new mini-chapter in the story, with accompanying clues and in-app animations being revealed. The 12th portal unveils the final chapter of the mystery.
