The tour maps which are available when you purchase a specific city/region, are scaled to the online maps so you can see your location on the maps CORRECTLY. You can use the tour maps with the offline map, and the tour maps offer more detailed information than maps of the phone. The offline maps if available will give you the detailed info such as street names around you. The Subway diagram if available is for finding different subway routes. No matter the complicity of the roads, this app will make your life much easier finding your way around.

Points of attractions can be searched by key word or category then plotted with loaded information such as visit duration, popularity ranking, etc.

Restaurants if available can be searched by key word or cuisine type then plotted and highlighted

Lodgings places if available can be plotted on the map with a single tap.

You can do a lot more with the app: finding your friends locations on the map, recording your locations then sharing your trips as named trails with friends, fitness, note keeping, timer, etc. Those tools are available in all packages/regions as well as in the Common package.

After reading user reviews of other similar apps. I just realized I am not playing any game. What you read here is what you will get.
