App Store Description

AP Powershot™ is co-founded by four bright young entrepreneurial school kids who won the Australian National 2017 iAwards, and their favourite university computer scientist who is a Queensland Community Digital Champion and a CSIRO STEM professional.

The vision of AP Powershot™ is to combine technology, sports, and games to create useful Apps for measuring the speed of a kick, hit, or throw.

This version of the App is specifically designed for Soccer players of all ages.

The App has two useful features: 1) it helps players understand and improve their kicking technique, and 2) it allows players to estimate the speed of their kicks.

The App works by recording short videos of the Soccer ball being kicked. While recording, make sure that the ball fits just inside the targeting box. The speed calculation is done by placing two small tracking boxes over the Soccer ball in an existing recording at the desired starting frame and ending frame.
