What is it about?

Florida HOSA Region 9– Future Health Professionals is the premier organization for student leaders pursuing careers in the health care industry. With HOSA providing powerful instructional tools, recognition, leadership, networking, scholarships, and connections with industry leaders to thousands of members across the United States, we accomplish our two-fold mission – promoting career opportunities in the health care industry and enhancing the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA is endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education, the Florida Department of Education, the Health Science Technology Education Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education, and over 50 other health-related partners and industry associations. Those who join the Health Science – HOSA Partnership understand the importance of providing students with training far beyond the basic technical skills needed for entry into the health care field – they recognize that the rapidly changing health care system needs dedicated workers who, in addition to their technical skills, are people-oriented and capable of playing a leadership role as a member of a health care team.
