Row Sum

Row Sum is a fun puzzle game that can help you tone your math skills and sharpen your mind. You are presented with 3 rows of 3 or 5 tiles (depending on difficulty choice) and you must rearrange them so that the sum of each row's tiles equals a target value (the current sum of each row is displayed above the target sum). One of the tiles has its value hidden and you must determine its value to completely solve the puzzle. The puzzles are always randomly generated, so no two puzzles are ever alike, and each level varies in difficulty by increasing the target sum as well as using decimals and negative numbers.

How to move and interact with the tiles
• Tap one tile, then tap another to swap them; you can swap tiles between rows or in the same row
• Tap and hold a tile to drag it across the board and place it into a new position
• Double-tap the hidden tile (marked with a ?) to enter a value

Two Difficulty Levels
• Easy – 3 tiles per row - target sums start and increment by 25
• Hard – 5 tiles per row - target sums start and increment by 50

Two Game Modes
• Arcade – Advance through 15 levels by solving the puzzle before the timer runs out and earn points as you complete each level
• Untimed – Choose your level of difficulty and take as long as you’d like to solve the puzzle for a stress free and enjoyable way to pass the time

Helpful Information
• Tap the help button to be given the option to reveal the hidden tile for you, or solve the first row for you automatically (you get bonus points for not using these features)
• Adjust the size of the tile’s text using the text size button while playing to help make the text easier to read
• Try the game in landscape for a wider view of the tiles
• Disable the hidden tile feature in the game’s settings to make the game easier
• Change the color of the tiles to your preference in the game’s settings
• Log into Game Center to have your high score submitted to the all-time leaderboard and see where you rank against your friends
• Supports dark mode
